Courageous

9-year-old Bay Mare

Courageous is 15.3 hands, sound, and eager to find her forever home. She was too slow to race and her owner wanted her to have a safe new home. She has done well with her training under saddle, stands for the farrier, has good ground manners, has performed in the show ring, and has miles of trail rides, including Acadia. She is loved by all who know her and looks forward to her new home for years of adventures! Adoption fee: $750

OR

14-year-old Bay Gelding

This big gelding is impressive in all ways. At 15.3 hands and big-bodied, this is a horse that turns heads. He just stopped racing weeks ago, finishing with a win. At the age of 14, his owner opted to give him a chance for a forever pleasure home instead of finishing the season. This guy won over half a million dollars and has earned his retirement. He is just starting his retraining and seems very willing and straight-forward. He will be under saddle soon. If you are looking for a big solid gelding, this is the guy for you. Donation: $600.
