Application To Adopt
Adoption fees start at $600 and are driven by expenses incurred while retraining, transporting, housing, and providing medical care for the horse. These horses are learning their balance under a rider and usually need an intermediate rider.
Doodah Man
13-year-old Bay Gelding
Doodah Man is sound and eager to find his forever home. He retired after his last race in the Fall of 2020. He's a reliable driver (meaning he is not always in race mode), and we are starting his training under saddle. Adoption fee: $600-$900
Feisty Baran
16-year-old Bay Gelding
Baran is a 16-year-old, 15.1 hand, bay gelding. He raced until he had to retire at 14, winning over a quarter of a million dollars. He is just beginning his training at Horses With Hope in Hope, Maine, who is partnering with us as a foster home. Keep looking for Facebook updates as his training progresses. Power Off
15-year-old Bay Gelding
Power Off is a very spunky 15-yo gelding who retired after his final year of eligibility. We just started his evaluation, but we know so far that he's calm but has plenty of get up and go!. Adoption fee: $600-$900.
Jin Dandy
13-year-old Bay Gelding
Jin raced as a pacer up until the this winter. This gelding is getting settled into his new lifestyle away from the track. He is 15.3 hands. He is continuing his evaluation and basic training under saddle so keep a watch out for him. Adoption fee: $600-$900.
